DXCC does not offer a 'Band-Mode' award. The cards that I thought should have been selected actually would not have been needed to apply to any award DXCC offers. When they announced the DX Challenge I figured that was the Band-Mode award I had wished for, but no it's not that at all. I can't speak to your exact DXCC submission, but in my case the RTTY Q's it did not select turned out not to be an 'adder' to any of the awards. This did surprise me, but a careful reading of the rules seems to me to confirm that DXBase2006 is actually doing the right submissions, at least in my case. I suspect in the selection process behind the scenes, when you have all 3 modes checked in the selection screen, that RTTY is not considered until CW and Phone are fully processed, thus RTTY is the one which seems to get the 'short end' of the stick. Unless DXBase provided a way to prioritize based upon mode, say you could tell it to consider RTTY first, then Phone, then CW as an example, this 'anomaly' is going to happen.
Of course I could be proven wrong..won't be the first or last time. Ron, N5IN Dave Blake wrote: > I have been living with this anomaly since we went from DOS versions > to Windows.
