I am using an ICOM 756 Pro II which does not have a RS232 serial interface. Is
the interface that is available on this radio of any use with DXbase? If so,
what can be controlled, how, etc?

Subject: [Dxbase] Logging RTTY via Hamscope (with MMTTY engine) - how sweet
it is!!
Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
I just downloaded the latest version of Hamscope and
the MMTTY engine. And, very nicely, logged a CW QSO,
PSK31 QSO, RTTY QSO, and MFSK16 QSO. ALL of the
modes worked perfectly and were "logged straight into
DXbase2006" from Hamscope. The setup worked just like
it should have - with no problems seen at all.
The logging interface between Hamscope and DXbase2006
picked up the correct mode and the selection of each
of the DX Call, Name, and RST from the Rcve window
worked just like "up-town"!!
Since the MMTTY (RTTY mode) is already available
within the Hamscope program (by simply downloading
the MMTTY "engine" and saving it into the Hamscope's
directory), there really is no need to have "another"
MMTTY program made by Jack.. This one (Hamscope) is
absolutely cheery!
