Firewall is off------tried that. Verified that the cluster is operating. I connected to it thru windows.

I see all entries and can make changes to them etc so the file is OK and in right location. It opens from modify host files also. I checked the telnet address I'm trying to use and it opens on that same machine in windows telnet program.......but not Dxbase. Any other suggestions?
