Hi all, This one's been vexing me for years now and I'm hoping it's not just a case of user-error.
Scenario: Options/Alerts: Global Category Filter set to "New Mode or New Band," and RTTY and Digital lookups are merged. RTTY is checked for every band I operate in the Individual Band/Mode Filter. I do not operate PSK or any other digital mode, just pure FSK RTTY. In Band Plan Mapping, RTTY is set as the digital mode as appropriate (14073-14149, 21073-21199 and others). A needed RTTY spot (new RTTY for an entity) comes on the cluster. If it has nothing in the comments field it triggers normally. If "RTTY" is present anywhere in the comments field of the incoming spot, DX Base ignores the spot altogether and just passes the spot off as unneeded. This is repeatable on all 3 of my machines. I've missed far too many RTTY entities as a result, and would appreciate any suggestions on how to remedy this. Thanks in advance. ----------------------------------- Regards, Peter, W2IRT ______________________________________________________________ Dxbase mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dxbase Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
