I do exactly that. With WA6AXE's help a long time ago, I learned how to create 'labels'. The labels printed on my qsls cards that have a big blank area in the middle, where a lable 'COULD' be afixed. So in effect, I created a 1up custom label. After a lot of trial and error, I was able to determine the correct size and position of the 'virtual label' so that it was printed in the correct position on my cards.
Each 'virtual label' you create using the embedded creation system in DXBase consists of 3 files In my case they are called: W9OL-3q Pic.lbl W9OL-3q Pic.lbp W9OL-3q Pic.lbv These 3 files contain the various code and demensions definitions that take your qso data and place it into this 'virtual label' that is printed in the blank space on your card. I'd be glad to send you mine, and you could use that as your starting point. Read up on the help files on 'creating qsl cards/labels'. And take a look at the samples supplied in DXBase. PS: It helps to have a TOP LOADER printer. When it comes times for me to print qsl cards for the bureau, I put a stack of my already made cards with the big blank space into the printer. DXB then prints all the qso data I had selected for printing. Much lighter stack to send to the bureau, and a heck of a lot cheaper than buying labels.
