Hmm, maybe using cookies isn't such a bad idea.
Anybody knows exactly how much memory load each site
is allowed to have for client-side cookies? or is it
'no-stop-til-the-system-drops' that goes?
It could also be done to use session cookies, but I'm
not sure it's supported equally on different
server-side models(from what I know PHP3 don't support
session cookies natively).
Also extensive use of session cookies slows the
servers down - at least IIS4, which is my preference
(I've merely touched on Apache and IIS5 so far).
just pondering over the options...
