Are we of any concern to Microsoft ? If 98% of user market doesn't know nor cares about alternatives to that goes installed with their machines ? They get the computer they buy and they don't play nerd trying to reinstall, reconfigure and improve their system. The most I've seen them do is customize the desktop and icons. Why did IE kill Netscape ? Because it was a better browser ? No way. IE was there, then why bother downloading another browser. If Windows XP provides some M$ crap that allows to do more or less the same that Java does, then why should people bother downloading Java ? They are doing the same again and again, always the same story. Maybe this time deveopers, instead of adopting the easy ( initially ) M$ solution will choose against it. I'm not any optimistic, thought. _______________________________________________ Dynapi-Dev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/dynapi-dev
