the problem is with IE.. once you move a layer of change any of it's values,
IE wants to re-render it and sadly it will reload the background image (have
no clue why..but it does)
Indeed a layer as background canvas (using normal setHTML()) would look the
same, but the browser can move/resize it without having to reload the
contents (it's a strange browser :-)
