| As stated before by others, Slashdot is mainly a linux targetted
| website.. so ofcousre people would
| vote more for a pure-linux browser instead of a browser aimed more at
| Win32.
You will be surprised: 45% of people voted for MS IE on Slashdot.
As I hardly believe that they use MS IE on SPARC/Solaris, I guess they are on
Windows platform.
So, it looks like for me that Slashdot is readed now not only by Linux funs.
Believe me, I was also surprised.

|
| So no need for Konq. support now, because we would have to wait another 3
| years :-)
Let's see :-)
// I guess one year will be enough, though.
As I wrote in another mail, Konqueror's development speed is appx. 3 times
faster then of Microsoft. It's my personal feeling/estimation, I can be wrong
here.

|
| So we can make it DOM compliant according to NS6.. and Konq. will be
| supported.. isn't life great :-)
:-)

|
| Just face it, webstandards are non-existing.. Before DOM1 was finished,
| DOM2 was already being created.
| The only thing we can do, is try to create code that simply works on
| browsers.
I guess all [active] people should work in two direction. First, of course,
we need achieve max. portability/compatibility.
Second, we should move in standard's direction.
I agree that multiple standards are very confusing, but CSS and DOM are quite
important, IMHO.
