Hi Jeffrey, I finally found the version.h and autoconf.h files in the include/linux directory. This was after creating the kernel .config file and re-compiling the entire kernel and modules. I will try the included modules and if still do not work, will compile the separate downloaded modules from sourceforge that you gave me earlier.
