I think the idea of "mire" is useless. Some "PPP LCP" handshake in the
log is enough to know that the line is okay. - For this I have always
the "debug" option in /etc/ppp/options. It's more verbose than debug...

I send some weeks/month ago all the datas for Jazztel (Spain). Look in
the mail archive for "siemer". The only thing I could update is that the
modem (comtrend CT-351) has a _round_ white case. Fotos of modems pretending
to be a CT-351 too have been showing a dark square one (including
manufacture website).

Long time I thought it's part of the wiki and didn't say anything as I
could update the page myself... Some days ago I realised, that it isn't.
