Yes, sure, but I thought it would be good to make some precautions unless this feature goes into IDEA. :-) AR> I think AR> - metrics based code smells AR> (class/method too big/small) AR> should come first (like next week :0) Well, in fact, detecting classes that are too big can be done with any decent file manager (try FAR Manager, http://www.rarsoft.com ), and methods that are too big often happen to be in classes that are too big. And what's wrong with methods that are too small? Very often an one-liner is the best way to express my intention or to avoid code duplication, and there is nothing that smells or needs fixing. I'm sorry, but looks like this one is -1 from me too. :-) AR> - dead code tracker should come second AR> should come second. AR> I'd kill a virtuagirl for this one. Yes, now that is actually useful. +1. And another +1 for an intelligent detector of duplicate code. -- Best regards, Dmitry mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Eap-features mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.intellij.com/mailman/listinfo/eap-features
