Comment folding (especially javadoc comment folding) is almost necessary 
when you build frameworks. In those package,
as it is used by other people, good (and thus long enough) doc is as 
important as good coding.

The problem with that is that the code is more difficult to maintain, as 
the embedded doc looks like a noise.

Comment folding helps to dramatically reduce that noise and to focus on 
coding when you are actually programming.
