Just to expand on the answer from VLSCI I put in last night, we are
stuck on RHEL6 everywhere until our BlueGene/Q is decommissioned (need
to keep bug compatibility for IB between it and everything else to keep
GPFS happy), but we've only got EB on one Intel cluster at present and
our plan is to rebuild all clusters with RHEL7 and EB whenever the BGQ
is decommissioned.

Not sure if it makes it clearer, but at least you should get the sense
that you shouldn't worry about us. ;-)
