xsom is part of the nuxeo-core-schema-...jar there's no need to install it manually in theory. There must be something else wrong with your config, but I can't help you personally as I'm not using windows.

Under Windows, I copied xsom-20070323.jar to nuxeo-client\lib directory but I still have this error when I run "java Launcher launcher.properties"
Failed to load components for bundle - org.nuxeo.ecm.core.schema
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/xml/xsom/XSType

Is there a simple rule to run a Nuxeo Shell under Windows ?

Thank you.
