Can you check that, inside the app/bundles/nuxeo-core-schema-.....jar
of your nuxeo-client, there's a file called
lib/xsom-20060306.jar
?

xsom is part of the nuxeo-core-schema-...jar there's no need to
install it manually in theory.
There must be something else wrong with your config, but I can't help
you personally as I'm not using windows.
