Right on target, Kylie! When we speak of gender "differences," can
we be the *FIRST* to stop using the tired old cliches like "women
acting like men," "nurturing," and the ever-popular "strength"
concept.

We need to identify the TYPE of "strength" - only "physical?" How
about psychological, intellectual (THAT's a good one...) or even
emotional! Yes, there ARE many women who are not "hysterical," and
many MEN who ARE (though it's usually called some sort of aggression).

I'm afraid that the term "feminist" tends to separate us from the
female "crowd" - and I, for one, look forward to the day when we don't
have to HAVE a separate term! We have been classed into this group
because we "bucked the trend" of follow-the-leader (the leader being
one's husband, etc.). All I want, personally, is that we can someday
*SOMEHOW* be "individuals" - and appreciated as such! I really do
hate type-casting.....
