Naming is NOT blaming. It is an essential first step. No one should be made
hesitant to name, for fear of being labeled. Numbers (i.e., 85-95% of violent
crimes in this country by males, rather than females) are a beginning point
from which to consider our options.

Yes we can do a whole lot better, but first we have to engage
CONSTRUCTIVELY between the genders.
US society is violent partly because of cultural factors such as gun laws.
The US is a wild-west society that hasn't grown up and is going to seed
before it has flowered. You have to admit there's a paradox. It is also
the country where more women are in business management (40%) than anywhere
else. So what is the source of the failure of the society to integrate
these conflicting ideals?
The politics of gender confrontation simply doesn't address the problem.
Neither does the androtoxic hypothesis. Yes something needs to be done and
it may be tough on the 'bad guys', but blaming every 'nice guy' because
some men are violent is chauvanistic impasse. So is gender separatism,
because it can't carry a consensus for change. Meanwhile the forests burn
and the multi-nationals roar.
If you want to save biodiversity you are going to have to embrace fertility.
I know it's hard for some labrys-wielding feminists, but it is the natural way.
