Anyone see Cheryl Mills the white house council today? She was
spectacular! The best thing she defined was what the whole obstruction of
justice stink is all about--the definition: that a person corruptly
influences a witness in an investigation (Betty Curie, Clinton's secretary
for example). She used Rhenquists own definition to describe how the fact
that Clinton didnt pressure or influence his secretary by asking her
questions. As Currie testified when asked did she feel pressured by
Clinton's questions she clearly stated not.
What boggles my mind is when asked about Mills' statements Republican
senators said that they still felt that any motion to dismiss the case
would be voted down and that there would probably be allowed witnesses(!).
What?!? Didnt they get it? Also many republicans said that they are
dissappointed that new evidence isnt allowed into the case and that the
House wouldnt be allowed to rebutt right away. Man, the only way these
jerks will listen is we storm the congress and kick those jokers out of
office!!!!
My 2 cents,
