I remember hearing (on MPR) about some middle schools in the St.
Paul/Minneapolis area that offered math classes that were girls only,
boys only, and mixed girls and boys. Proponents said it was working
really well, for both boys and girls. Neither was distracted by the
other sex, both seemed to be more comfortable in class. I think it
sounds like a great idea.
I wonder if Mary Daly could teach a men-only class? I have heard her
speak only in mixed forums and when she is uncomfortable with her
audience she made it quite clear, and the quality of her talk
definitely suffered.
