I was vegan before I read SPM, but it is, and probably always will be, a
bible of theory for feminist vegetarianism.  My copy is worn and tattered,
highlighted, notated, bent and folded, starred and underlined.  By now I
know where everything is when I need a quote or a reference.  I use it often
in my writing.
