what a wonderful list you've compiled! Looks like I have a bit of reading to myself! I was impressed by some of the books recommended, such as One River and Tears of the Cheetah
and others

We hosted David Quammen for Darwin Day last week, and it was fun getting to know a bit about him. He is currently working on a book about viruses incl. epidemiological dynamics...
