Finally the first soaking rain of spring in southern NH. so will have to mow
lawn for first time this week. (let mine get a little shaggy).  I have been
preoccupied writing a book of poetry the past couple months, but am not too
far behind with garden considering latest snow melt in quite some time
according to a 90 year old local storekeep.  Picked first tomato and first
hot pepper ready (plants were in greenhouse until recently), abundance of
greens and garlic.
