Another wee bit of a clarification of the X12 standard: You stated
" . . . the partners who can't seem to send different values in GS Receiver
ID and ISA
Receiver ID. . . "
There is nothing within the X12 standards that requires that the value of
the ISA Receiver ID and the GS Receiver Code must be different. They can be
the same identifier and this is totally acceptable to the X12 standards. I
quote below from the X12 Standards:
I07 Interchange Receiver ID
Identification code published by the receiver
of the data; When sending, it is used by the
sender as their sending ID, thus other parties
sending to them will use this as a receiving ID
to route data to them
TYPE= AN MIN= 15 MAX= 15
RESTRICTED TO USE IN INTERCHANGE CONTROL
STRUCTURES ONLY
124 Application Receiver�s Code
Code identifying party receiving transmission.
Codes agreed to by trading partners
TYPE= AN MIN= 2 MAX= 15
