As a Consultant/Programmer dealing with dozens of Partners, it is sometimes useful to go directly to the Trading Partner, instead of through my clients. The clients don't always know EDI very well, and it can eliminate some 'broken telephone'. We have EDI specs for about 80 Department Stores on our links page. http://www.spe-edi.com/links.html Over 25% of them do NOT have their specs online. PS: If any of you want us to host them, let me know. We have the specs, but would need your permission to post them publicly. Of course, you can also upload them to the EDI-L space at yahoo.groups > Maybe I am off base here, but I think working with trading partners is my > job. > If my company is going to have requirements for doing business, then I need to > help suppliers become compliant.
