Just one note, I do not believe this statement is true anymore.

The Box bar code numbers (if UPC) should have 12 digits, where the 1st 6 will
identify the manufacturer.

The UCC has began issuing variable length manufacturer numbers. I don't think
you can determine the manufacturer from the UPC as we did in the past.

The manufacturers and/or distributors that sell the products to Sears provide
the data, either directly, or by giving Sears access to their 3rd party UPC
catalog.

The Box bar code numbers (if UPC) should have 12 digits, where the 1st 6 will
identify the manufacturer.

Sears probably has no interest in supplying you with this information.

You need to get it from the manufacturer or distributor.
