Thank you, Richard, for stepping into this as moderator. I agree
completely. Poking fun at the village idiot makes you a bully. Lashing
out at the overseas newbie who just took your next gig may be satisfying
(I confess to being somewhat guilty of that on at least one occasion),
but it is nonproductive and unprofessional. If your clients (or
employers) are only concerned about getting the job done for the least
money and aren't concerned about quality, expertise, reliability, etc.,
then you probably need to be looking elsewhere.
If you think the "clueless" are genuine and sincere, you have the time,
and you want to help them out, go ahead. If not, ignore them. They'll
go away on their own without your barbs.
