You could either do the 879 for prices and 888 for item catalog, or if you have cash to burn you could subscribe to item data sync.
We send 879s and 888s to some customers, but we prefer sending data to OneSync and having them deal with it. Seems to be the way things are going these days. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of w_cohen99 Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2008 5:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [EDI-L] EDI tran for product list? We are in the grocery distribution business and use transactions now of 810, 850, 820, 997. We always have trouble getting the most up to date product descriptions and sizes from our manufacturers and I was wondering if there is a transaction that is available for products, names, UPC codes, descriptions, list prices, etc. Right now we rely on information mailed (or emailed) to us telling us of an impending product change. I didn't see such a transaction. Worse case I need to contact our manufacturers and request a product file sent to me in csv format, or something. Thanks, Walter ...
