Just be sure to tell the sales dept that the testing fee comes from their 
budget and ask someone for the credit card number to charge it to.

 

When they see how much it costs as a dollar amount they do some mental 
calculations and start deducting the fees from the market development costs for 
this customer.

 

YMMV but it worked for me.

It's done so nobody has to wonder why every eight-ten years or so we have a 
recession. Those recessions squeeze all the pointless expenses out of the 
system and remind us how totally silly it was to have done it in the first 
place. We remember for the next eight-ten years and enjoy a boom time. Then 
we re-enter the loop and do it all over again.
