Hi Dan, This sounds like a classic case of GXS providing van services at no charge to <BIG RETAILER / HUB>, with the expectation that <BIG RETAILER / HUB> will demand all of their trading partners to get a mailbox on GXS. In these situations GXS will not do interconnects with other vans because without a GXS mailbox customer, they have no one to charge for the traffic.
We deal with Target in the U.S. but haven't been notified yet of a change in interconnects.
