Geez, Michael, what set you off today? Actually, as was shown in another post, it's usually the business people (analysts) who drive what goes in the standard and IGs. What may seem to you as useless dreck is probably there because some other business person thought it was absolutely essential.
And please, don't bash the geeks and academics.
