I did a search on this and did not find anything. Since IBM took over
Sterling, I have been going through hell with customer support and products.
One thing that I have always loved about Sterling was that they had excellent
customer support. That's been thrown out the window now that IBM has taken
over and, it would appear, rolled everything into their own system.
We had some issues going on last year (busy updating our Oracle System), and I
did not get round, as I had planned, to upgrading from GIS to Sterling
Integrator. I finally had time at the end of November, but ran into
bureaucratic red-tape just getting the software. Now the installer doesn't
work for Sterling Integrator (for the Solaris platfor) and IBM support acts
clueless.
Anybody else having problems with IBM? Would be interested in knowing which
problems and if you have managed to resolve them and how.
Thanks,
Thomas Seay
