For whatever it's worth... Just last week I had occasion to contact Sterling support *For VAN Services* and ... ... told them I was a little concerned that support might not retain its historic (in my case 15+ years) excellence what with the IBM thing and I was told by the rep "that's not changing at all" ... and the handling of my call proved that... as prompt and professional as ever. I have precisely ZERO experience contacting Sterling support *For WIndows-based software products*, although I've found support for Gentran both MVS and AS/400 as good as that for the VAN services. So I would be real careful about any "blanket indictments" of 'Sterling Support' and ensure any comments I made re same were carefully qualified by product/service. Michael C.
