Hi Lars,

first of all I want to apologies for the commits - I simply did not get
the message of the feature freeze. I looked at my (private) mail and the
website, but I didn't see any notice about a feature freeze. I'm sorry
but I was not able to follow the lists, I would have taken simply to
much time ...

Anyway I'm back and happy to work again on eGroupWare and specially the
next release from Monday next week on. I might again not be able to
answer questions on the lists 'til Monday, as I'm working on a climbing
competition (away from home) 'til then.

Beside the feature freeze I want to ask for the inclusion for the last
commits, as they are:

1. quite a big usability improvement (you can now switch columns in
every list (of eTemplate apps) on and off via a simple checkbox. That
allows to show a lot information (columns) not necessarily useful for
everyone, but required by some people / usage cases. There's a
programmatic default and admin can also specify a default. That's a long
wanted and talked about (new) feature.
The changes in the code are not big and work quite well. The problems
after the first commit were caused by the not included app.css file by
the home page, which is now fixed.

2. distribution lists for the addressbook are a long wanted feature and
have even been on the roadmap for 1.4 - thought I had to postpone them
because of to little time.

3. these feature also include some bugfixes I came along while working
on the new code.

I ask to include these fixes (base the 1.4 branch on the up to date
trunk), and promises to not commit and new features, without further
discussion on the lists to the 1.4 branch.

If noone plans / works on new features at the moment, I would even
suggest to remove the 1.4 branch again, as to early release branches are
delaying a release more then they help creating it.

I will actively work on getting out the 1.4 release, before starting any
new development!

Again I'm sorry for ignoring the feature freeze and I'm happy to be back
working on eGW next week :-)

Ralf

PS.: I will probably not be able to read the developer list, before next
week. Everything on the users list posted in the last 3 month, I will
simply ignore, as I dont have the time to read and answer it.
