Exactly. For example many of the compliance checks had to do with 1.0 things
that have been deprecated. What does it mean to fail such a test? In our
case it means that we have also deprecated that functionality in line with
the 1.1 spec!

Had the evaluator engaged us in an cooperative process, we would have guided
them in the right direction. We wouldn't try to control the outcome of the
tests, but we surely would make sure the tests were correct before agreeing
to public disclosure.
