Thanks for the response.

Even JBuilder seems to be compatible with Websphere .( Not only Websphere,
they say Triple-Cross-Platform development -for three leading application
servers (Borland AppServer, WebLogic and WebSphere ) . What additional
advantage does Visual Age provides you for compatibility with Websphere, EJB
Development and debugging??

Dont JBuilder work with legacy systems?

JBuilder requires atleast 256 MB RAM for enterprise development which is the
same case for VAJ.

But I have observed that there is a lot of fragmentation created by VAJ
throughout your disk. VAJ is processor intensive. How about JBuilder??

The best things in VAJ might be Centralized Repository, Object oriented View
of Packages, classes.., Inbuilt Version Control

Any contradictions / more ideas ??

It depends , for which appserver you deploy.

If IBM Websphere, then VAJ is best since VAJ and Websphere
compatibility is good.

Otherwise also ,I would suggest VAJ. Since it has good support for
EJB development and debugging , Connectivity to any legacy systems
and many more user-friendly features with Smart Tools.

Neative side, VAJ needs lot of memory....
