I recently had one of Elecraft's recommended technicians add all the mods and S/W to bring my unit back to current production. Really is nice compared to when it left. Only question I have is the amount of audio. I am driving a Yaesu SP-5 speaker and even though the audio is loud enough, I can take the AF and RF to max and not over drive it. Perhaps a different speaker? AF is at 3 o'clock and RF open for regular listening. BTW using N4PY software and controlling SSB, I can really open it up to sound even better.
