This discussion reminds me of something I've been wanting to for a while.

I don't use the internal keyer in the K2 but prefer my own keyer and I'd like to parallel my computer/cw keyboard with it.

What kind of circuit would this require or could I just parallel
the lines together?

Easiest(!) way to do it is to set MENU | INP | HAND in the K2.

Then get a 3-way RCA jack (female), and connect the outputs of your PC and keyer to it. Finally, a jumper cable with an RCA on one end (to the 3-way jack) and a 1/8" (3.5mm) STEREO plug with ground from the jumper cable to the sleeve of the plug and the hot side of the jumper cable connected to the TIP of the plug. Nuthin' connected to the ring of the plug.

Done!
