Koss "The Plug" earbud headphones

Pomona BNC to double 4-way binding post adaptor.

Pelican Case model #1120 fitted for KX1, KXPD1 and BNC to 4 way binding post adaptor (bomb proof protection for the rig and fits into car trunk or small pack with no fear of
ever damaging the rig in transit).

Antenna - 24 ft length of #26 AWG Teflon coated, silver plated wire
with a fishing snap swivel tied to one end and a banana plug on the other.

Ground radials - 16 foot length of 5 conductor computer ribbon cable, split up to about 3 feet from one end and taped. Banana plug installed on the non split end (all conductors connected).

About 30 feet of small diameter braided nylon fly fishing line and a 3/8 inch stainless steel
nut.

10 X AA Nimh Cells in a 10 cell holder

For Pedestrian Mobile operations I add :

13 foot telescopic fiberglass fishing pole

cycling hydration pack to support pole and hold extra gear.

cell phone lanyard looped under the KXPD1 before tightening to keep
from dropping the rig into a snowbank or mud-puddle.

Antenna - Linear loaded end fed wire consisting of 14 feet of 4-wire computer ribbon cable with outside two wires shorted at one end and a fishing snap swivel tied to the two middle wires. On the other end banana plugs installed on outside two wires.
Two small velcro straps to secure the wire to the pole.

Trailing Counterpoise - 29 feet of #26 AWG teflon coated silver plated wire with a banana jack on one
end.
