I'll let you look up the specs, but if you can use the 8.2v Zener you can buy them for about .03 each here: http://www.newark.com/vishay-semiconductor/1n4738a-tr/zener-diode-1-3w-8-2v-do-41/dp/22H4333 I belive they have a 7.9V as well. Sorry if this doesn't help.
