When I can't find what I need at DigiKey I always go to Jameco. Jameco is a large supplier to industry but handles small orders to individuals very efficiently and they always seem to have what I need. I don't think there is a minimum overall order size and the only time I have had to order 10 of some part it was for parts costing only a few cents each. A bonus for Jameco is that their web site is very easy to navigate, specifications are clear, and there is a link to the manufacturer's specification sheet for most parts.
