I've not had the specific problems you have, but I did have problems with the P3 crashing and needing a reset after each TX when running N1MM. Then I realized that I had removed the #10 copper bond between the computer and the K3 to use a different computer, and had not re-connected it. When I restored the bonding wire, the problem went away. I also use the K9YC serial cable (CAT5, with a pair per circuit, and with the return for each circuit going to the CHASSIS, not pin 5) between the computer and the P3. I'm using the Elecraft-supplied serial cable between the P3 and the K3. I also have issues when LP Bridge is sharing the serial port with the VE7CC cluster program and N1MM when I added the P3. I had to turn off LP Bridge to solve that.
