The outputs are open collector. If you need a 12vdc source instead, you will need to have a line driver or relay for each output. Older K3's will require the External Band Data Pullup part of the K3 Negative ALC and Ext Band Data Pull-up Mods in order to work with this unit. Or, you can buy a REMIOUPGD modified KIO3 Board from Elecraft for $20. Newer K3's are good to go with no mods.
