Got the same problem in one of my K3s. According to facsupport, in early units there is a custom PLD chip which sometimes develops timing issues at random intervals, and that $99+2wayship will likely take care of the problem. A local fellow has been using the K3 in the mean time, and putting up with the problem, and has indicated that he will buy it as-is.
