David, I would switch my computer off at the supply only if it, the OS and the other software were designed in such way, that the hard switch off wouldn't cause any harm. We all know that this is not the case with the PC and Windows. K3 however is different. Most of the modern house appliances also have embedded computers and they usually don't fear of a PS interruption too.
