This is not an elegant solution, but I do use my Yamaha CM500 most of the time. I have it plugged into the back of the K3. My MH2 microphone is still plugged into the front, and I just use the "push to talk" switch on the MH2, even when I'm using the CM500. Of course, a simple switch could be created, but this took no effort and isn't all that bad an alternative.
