I just set the 4 "quick memories" for each band to 10 KHz up from the bottom of 
the CW portion, middle of the CW portion, middle of the RTTY portion and middle 
of the SSB portion of the band.  Couple of quick button presses and a short 
crank of the main tuning either way and you're there.

I never did really get used to using the RIT knob as a "quick tune" feature so 
I shut it off.  

No need to burden Wayne with adding features that can be worked around - he's 
got much more on his plate than adding things to please one or two individuals 
IMO.
