The conversion of order number to date/time is in UTC. My kit just shipped and I ordered at 13:25 (UTC) on 12/28/2011 (08:25 EST). You ordered at 13:58 CST on the same date, that would put your order at 19:58 UTC, about six hours after the time for currently shipping kits.
