Dave, I concur.
We are amateurs. Many among us have all the answers. We really have no clue unless we walk in the other person's shoes... but, then we want everything now and we raised our kids in the instant gratification computer generation, and therefore since communication can be instant, we can wail away at "progress" and we want "change" now! OMG, here I am ranting... oh, because I have a keyboard and a car? I can control everything. And on and on.... Let's spare the reflector. Happy FD!!! 73, Bill K9YEQ -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jeff Herr I does no good to staff up unless all the manufacturing processes are in place. Boms all set Inventory in required qty...down to every nut and screw Workstations ready to be manned Kitting all ready And instructions for each work station/operation They are probably killing themselves to balance ramp up against predicted final demand....its bad to over staff! Give them a break, its harder than you think! -----Original Message----- I don't think Elecraft subscribes to the "Hire and Fire " philosophy that seems to be current in most arenas. At least, I hope so! BTW - I started in R&D in 1955. -- Dave G KK7SS Richland, WA KX3 #097 ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
