I joined the list about eight months ago and he was advertising 90+ at that time so he's not wanting for work. Whether the messages are posted too frequently or not is up to Eric to decide. This is one of several "commercial" postings on this list that seem to be allowed by the rules and don't get too out of hand. I've purchased the Rework Eliminator modules and the customized bezels and nameplates that are advertised here from time to time. I think I've seen mention of people offering torroid winding services. It's probably one of those things where when you like the product being advertised it's no big deal.
